2010 Captain - Colin I Willis

It is with great honour I accept the Captaincy of Prestwich Golf club for 2010 and will Endeavour to uphold the traditions of the club. All visitors to the club and course will be welcome and when possible I will greet them personally.

As we all know all golf clubs are going through turbulent times and we are no different but I believe with the support of all the members for the changes that have had to be done we will come out of it a stronger club.

During my Captaincy I will introduce a monthly e-mail newsletter it is intended to try and relay to members information of things that are or will be happening in all areas at the club.

My charity for the year will be the British Heart Foundation and would appreciate the help of the members. I will be keeping certain things that have been a success in raising funds this year like. 1) Captain & Pro challenge, 2) clubhouse telephone restriction. 3) Bunkers on the 8th. All donations to the BHF will be gratefully accepted.
