Centenary Celebrations

The centenary celebrations started on Sunday 2nd March when over one hundred members turned out for the Captains Drive In & Centenary Flag Raising Ceremony.


There is a festival week  planned for the week commecing May 19th to celebrate the clubs centenary with a week of golf competitions followed by a Gala Ball on Saturday 24th May


Prestwich Golf Club has become a member of the Society of 1908 Golf Clubs. This allows members the opportunity to play the courses of other member clubs either through a courtesy arrangement at reduced fees.

Gala Ball Saturday 24th May 2008
The main social event of the Centenary Festival Year is a Gala Ball to be held on Saturday 24th May 2008. The ball will be located in a festival Marquee linked to the Clubhouse. Caterers for the Gala Ball are Fushbuttz who have been working with Celebrity Chef , Andrew Nutter  to produce a menu  specifically designed to suit the occasion

Ticket Sales

Tickets for the Gala Ball are selling fast and are now available for members and their guests. The cost is £45 and can be reserved for a £10 Deposit. Full payment must be made by 23rd April 2008

Cashless Bar Sales

From 8.00pm onwards the bar will be operating a “Cashless” system. Members can use their own BAR MEMBERSHIP CARDS or there will be “TABLE” cards available on the night if a group want to open an account for the evening. Members should check that their bar cards are functional and topped up for the evening
