The opening hole is a short par 4 offering longer hitters a risk/reward tee shot by attempting to drive the green. If played as a conventional par 4 then placement off the tee is more important than distance. There is “out of bounds” all the way up the left of the fairway and green. The green is a long and narrow, two tier green where length of approach shot is very important.

Pro's Tip:  Hug the left-hand side of the fairway with a mid – long iron, to leave a straightforward second shot.
