Hole Seven
The first of our brand new holes for the 2020 course.
A comparitivley short par four with a green that is protected by two bunkers around ten yards short of the putting surface.. O.O.B. runs along the left hand side of the fairway and to the rear of the green. Kersal Moor lies beyond the green which was once the home of Old Manchester Golf Course from 1818 (the second oldest golf club in England.)
An interesting fact for this hole is that you drive off in Bury and put out in Salford.
Golfers should be aware of a public footpath which crosse sthe hole just short of the closely mown fairway. Pedestians have right of way and golfers should let them clear the path before taking a shot.
